His fine performance didn’t go unnoticed as the South Korea star striker received Premier League Player of the Month Award, following his excellent display throughout September.
The striker really managed to turn his luck around after almost leaving Spurs during the summer transfer window, but eventually opted to stay at White Hart Lane.
Following Harry Kane’s injury, Son has shown his ability to lead Spurs’ front line and providing important contribution which helped his side getting good results up till now.
His latest performance in Spurs’ 2-0 win over Manchester City was highly praised as despite not scoring any goals, he played an important part in his team’s comfortable home win.
