Spurs Not Worried With Bale’s Absence for Italian Trip

Tottenham Hotspur picked up a hefty  lead in the first leg of their Europa League campaign after beating Inter Milan 3-0 in the first leg at White Hart Lane on Thursday. Unfortunately, that victory was being marred with the bookings for Gareth Bale, who will now be sitting out of the second leg tie at San Siro.

However, the absence of Bale apparently isn’t giving much concern for Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas as he believes that it’s actually a positive thing as the winger will have his suspension trouble being erased for upcoming quarter finals round.

Despite looking confident for the second leg, Villas-Boas warns his players that Spurs haven’t qualify as just yet so they must try to pick up good result in Italy.
