Tottenham Hotspur threw away a 1-0 lead in the first half and ended up with nothing after getting beaten 2-1 by Manchester City on Sunday.
Commenting about the game, Spurs’ tactician Andre Villas-Boas revealed that things got a bit more complicated for his side right after City managed to equalize. Villas-Boas said that in the end they’re settling for a draw, but apparently their attempt at holding things out failed.
The Portuguese manager also shout out his praise towards City substitute, Edin Dzeko, who scored the winning goal shortly before the final whistle. It was not the first time that Dzeko decided his team’s victory this season.
