Spurs Boss Villas Boas Not Keen on Reward for Champions League Failures

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas apparently isn’t keen on having Champions League failures entering the knock out stages of Europa League.

Commenting after his team’s success in advancing into the later stages of UEFA’s second rate competition, Villas-Boas believes that adding those failed teams doesn’t seem fair at all. The Portuguese tactician said that teams who are already failing shouldn’t be given a reward to play in Europa League.

Villas-Boas also said that his opinion didn’t just arrived recently as he already hold that though since his early coaching days at FC Porto.
