Spain’s 100% winning run in qualifying matches ended on Tuesday when Vincente Del Bosque’s men were held into a 1-1 draw by France in Madrid.
Speaking to the press after the match, Del Bosque claimed that tiredness caused his team’s failure in keeping the lead they had in the first half.
La Furia Roja took the lead in the 25th minute through Sergio Ramos and should’ve doubled it before the break if Cesc Fabregas didn’t had his penalty saved by Hugo Lloris. The home team’s failure to extend their lead cost them as Les Blues equalized through Olivier Giroud in stoppage time.
