South Korea and Australia Start World Cup Qualifier With Victories

Two powerhouse in Asian football, South Korea (Korea Republic) along with Australia started off their World Cup 2018 Asian qualifier with positive results.

Korea comfortably picked up a 2-0 away win over Myanmar, with Bayer Leverkusen man, Son Heung-Min among the goal scorer for that tie.

Meanwhile, Australia defeated Kyrgyztan 2-1, with goals coming from Mile Jedinak and Tomi Oar, while their opponent only able to reply once through Azamat Baimatov.

A rather disappointing result suffered by Japan though as they only picked up a goalless draw against South east Asian side, Singapore.
