Russia might be considered as an underdog as they play England on their Euro 2016 opener this weekend, but that status won’t stop them from putting on a good performance.
That ambition was stated by their head coach, Leonind Slutsky, who stated that his eager to see his side putting on good football while getting positive result against England.
Although their opponent have many inexperience players, Slutsky refused to believe it will bring any advantage for Russia since it’s difficult to claim that experience always wins out.
The tactician will be counting a lot on Artem Dzyuba up front to get goals for his team, who has many qualities aside from his height.
Probable Russia starting line up against England:
Akinfeev(gk);Smolnikov, V Berezutski, Ignashevich, Schennikov(def); Golovin, Neustädter; Smolov, Shatov, Kokorin(mid); Dzyuba(att).
