Both teams have met six times already this season and Atletico have the upper hand, but that situation isn’t giving much insurance for Los Rojiblancos’ head coach, Diego Simeone, who is expecting a different kind of contest.
Speaking to the press ahead of that Champions League derby, Simeone revealed that his team won’t be paying too much attention on past games, as things will surely be different this time around.
The Argentinian tactician added that Madrid have many quality players, who can easily change things around, so Atletico must continue to play with high intensity and spirit against Carlo Ancelotti’s men.
