Another controversial incident occurred in football as the match between Serbia against Albania on Tuesday had to be stopped after a rather unpleasant incident happened during that tie.
Despite strong police presence ahead of that tie, things remain heated as Albania’s first visit to Serbia after 37 years turned into an ugly and violence scenes with brawl between players and fans.
The incident apparently kick off after a drone carrying Albanian flag with an addition image of Kosovo map somehow entered the pitch and as it was being grabbed by Serbia player, Aleksandar Mitrovic, things got heated.
Brawl between players didn’t last long though as it was immediately handled, but somehow that incident triggered raged from Serbian home crowd as they started an attack on Albanian players.
Knowing that the situation is going out of control, referee immediately stopped the match and ordered both set of players heading towards the dressing room as it’s not possible to carry on.
