Schweinsteiger Retiring from International Football

Manchester United midfielder, Bastian Schweinsteiger has officially announced his retirement from international football, stating on social media that he won’t be participating any more games for German national team.

On his written announcement, Schweini stated that he has already asked Die Mannschaft’s head coach, Joachim Low not to consider him anymore for national team duties.

The 31 year old simply felt that he has enough experience already with German national side, feeling plenty of joy and success more than what he can ever hope for.

Unfortunately, unlike Lahm, Schweinsteiger failed to end his international career in a high as Germany failed to with Euro 2016 following their semifinal defeat against France.
