Portugal head coach, Fernando Santos warned his players that they must be able to show improvement from their previous tie against Iceland if they were to beat Austria this weekend.
Although stating that his side did some good stuff in their 1-1 draw against Iceland, but Santos is keen on improving stuff they were lacking from that game as they set to face Marcel Koller’s men.
Santos stated that Austria are a quality side that have many dangerous players, who can play good attacking football and cause problems for any sides.
That’s why, despite losing their opening game against Hungary, Santos remain cautious over their opponent’s quality as Austria can always shock anyone.
There are no injury problems troubling Portugal squad, so the tactician can pick his best squad and even decide who can also help out from the bench.
