Another disappointing news arrived ahead of Euro 2016, this time from German national team camp as they won’t be able to use Antonio Rudiger, who picked up an injury during training session.
The AS Roma defender has officially been ruled out of Euro as medical report revealed that he has a cruciate ligament tear on his right knee and replacing him, Joachim Loew is calling young defender, Jonathan Tah.
It’s a disappointing situation indeed for Ruediger, who will be sidelined for quite a while because of that injury and practically miss the chance to play in this year’s Euro.
Rudiger himself was actually prepared to start Germany’s opening Euro fixture against Ukraine in place of Mats Hummels who is still recovering from his injury.
Low will surely hope that this sudden change won’t be affecting his team’s chemistry at the back ahead of their tie against Ukraine.
