Not being labeled as favorite in Brazil 2014 doesn’t seem to trouble England national team players as after Joe Hart recently voicing out his confidence about his team’s strength, it’ Wayne Rooney’s truth to share his views.

Speaking to the media, Rooney revealed that he and his teammates are not planning to arrive in Brazil just for fun or settling for knock out stages qualification as Three Lions are eager to win the cup.

The Manchester United star believes that current England squad have many quality players who can provided exciting performance along with results in the upcoming tournament.

Although admitting that it won’t be an easy task, but Rooney believes that with hard work and a bit of luck, anything is possible for them, especially in such major tournament such as World Cup where surprises are not something  rare.

The attacker also isn’t worried with the amount of young players that Roy Hodgson picked for England’s World Cup 2014 squad as Rooney is confident that those youngsters can add many positive things for Three Lions, such as pace, energy and enthusiasm.

Rooney also believes that current combination between young players and those experienced ones will give plenty benefits for England in their World Cup journey.

In the tournament, Hodgson’s squad are being drawn into Group D which consist of Uruguay, Italy along with Costa Rica. All of those teams, especially the previous two can give such stern test indeed for England’s World Cup hope.
