Being rumored to be under consideration by Manchester United new boss, Louis Van Gaal, England international striker, Wayne Rooney continue to showcase positive run of form during his club’s current preseason.
The striker scored two goals and set up an assist for Juan Mata on Man United’s 3-2 win over AS Roma this weekend and commenting about his performance, Rooney admitted that he was very pleased what he has shown.
Rooney also revealed that so far things have been going well with Van Gaal as he is enjoying the new approach that the Ducthman giving to Manchester United.
Furthermore, although it’s nice to get goals and winning their friendly games, Rooney stated that the most important thing during preseason is to prepare themselves for the real competition soon.
