Portugal still struggling to get their first win in Euro 2016 as they were held into a disappointing goalless draw by Austria on Saturday.

European Selecao that only grabbed one point on their opening game against Iceland were very determined in pushing for three points as they control things straight from kick off.

However, a combination of poor finishing and excellent display from Austria goal keeper stopped Ronaldo and co from scoring in the first 45 minutes.

Nothing really changed after the break as Portugal continue to dominate and create several chances, but they can’t see to finish any of those opportunities.

Luck seems to finally turn into Selecao’s turn when they were awarded a spot kick, but Ronaldo surprisingly failed to convert as his shot hit the post.

That missed penalty didn’t stop Portugal from pushing forward, but considerably affecting their confidence as up until the final whistle was blown no goals were scored.

It was a disappointing result indeed for Fernando Santos’ men, but their chance in getting into knock out stages remain open, though they must win their final group game against Hungary.
