Rodgers Urging Liverpool to Move On from Sterling

Liverpool are still gearing up for their pre-season tour, but that doesn’t stop the club’s manager, Brendan Rodgers, from sharing his views regarding the transfer market, notably about Raheem Sterling’s departure.

Rodgers didn’t deny the possibility of him being Sterling’s reason to move from Anfield, but the manager simply said that everything is done and dusted now and Liverpool should just move forward.

The former Swansea City boss stated that Sterling is now a Manchester City player, so it’s not really proper to continue talking about him.

Rodgers added that they actually did everything they could to keep Sterling at the club, but nothing works so it’s time for Liverpool players along with fans to forget about their former young winger.
