Rodgers Delighted After Liverpool’s Slender Win Over Stoke City

Liverpool finally ending their recent run of bad form by snatching an important home victory over Stoke City on Saturday, thanks to a 85th minute goal from their right back, Glen Johnson.

Knowing that things haven’t been going well for his side, The Reds’ boss, Brendan Rodgers, revealed that he is relieved with that slender victory as grabbing three points is what matters for now.

Although admitting that Liverpool might not be playing a perfect match against Stoke, but it was never easy to play against a good side that doesn’t concede much goals such as Mark Hughes’ men.

That result breath a sigh of relief for Rodgers as his future has been in some trouble after Liverpool’s poor start in the season and inability to bounce back from it up till now.
