The most awaited transfer news so far has finally been concluded as Real Madrid officially announced that James Rodriguez will be their new signing this summer after agreeing terms with France outfit, Monaco.
Los Blancos announced that deal via their official website, stating that Rodriguez signed a six years deal with the club and set to be unveiled later this Tuesday at Santiago Bernebau.
“Real Madrid C. F. have reached an agreement with AS Mónaco FC to buy James Rodríguez, who will join the club for the next six seasons.
The player will be presented today, Tuesday 22 July, at 20:00 CET, in the Santiago Bernabéu’s presidential box,” the official statement read.
No official numbers have been revealed as just yet, though its believe that Madrid are paying in the region on 80 million Euro for the Colombian international’s service.
The move is also a dream come true for Rodriguez, who has previously stated that playing at Real Madrid would be something he is really keen on. Los Blancos have also prepared the legendary number 10 jersey for their new signing which maintained their Galacticos legacy every season.
