Premier League Clubs Preparing for African Players Departures

Recent weekend fixtures in the Premier League saw the last match for several African based players to help their team before they participate in the African Cup of Nations this January.

This situation prompted several possible moves in the market for some EPL sides that will be losing a massive strength in their team during the month. Manchester City will once again face the absence of both Yaya Toure and Kolo Toure, while Tottenham Hotspur are without Emanuel Adebayor for quite a while.

Spurs however, apparently aren’t bothered that much with Adebayor’s absence as their manager Andre Villas-Boas revealed that he is confident with the other strikers he have.
