Platt Said Man City Work Ethic Was Key Against Stoke

Manchester City advanced into the next stage of FA Cup after beating fellow premiership side Stoke City 1-0 on Saturday and City’s assistant manager, David Platt believes that his players work ethic was the key for that success.

Platt stated that his team started out very well and dominated the encounter early on, but Stoke did came back as the game wears on. However, the assistant manager believes that overall City did more than enough to eventually win that game as the players worked really hard for the whole 90 minutes.

Platt said that this positive attitude is something that pleased him a lot.
