Manchester City picked up an important 2-0 victory over Fulham on Saturday and David Silva was elected as man of the match with his two goals. The Spaniard excellent performance received massive praise from City’s assistant manager David Platt who believes that it was a deserving reward for his consistent showcase so far this season.
Speaking more about the game, Platt revealed that they didn’t really play brilliantly in the first half despite scoring such an early goal. However, they managed to improve after the break and eventually sealing all three points with a second goal and a solid defensive display.
