Bulgarian veteran winger, Martin Petrov recently admitted that his decision in leaving Bolton Wanderers for a La Liga shot with Espanyol wasn’t the best option he took at that time. However, the midfielder explained that he sort of ‘forced’ to grab the Spanish team’s offer as there was an unpleasant situation growing at Bolton during his last year.
Petrov also revealed that he isn’t keen on playing in Championship division as he believes that the quality is much lower compared to Premiership level. Still, despite his sour memories at Bolton, Petrov gave a strong support for his teammates in immediately regaining their place at the top level in England.
