Manchester City saw their chance in qualifying into the next stage of Champions League getting more difficult after this midweek they suffered a shock 2-1 defeat from CSKA Moscow at Etihad Stadium.

Commenting about that result, Man City head coach, Manuel Pellegrini couldn’t hide his disappointment as he bemoans his players for giving away two easy goals in the first 45 minutes.

That defeat puts City sitting bottom of their group with just two points from four matches, there’s still chances though for Pellegrini’s men to advance but they must grab victories on their remaining games.

Meanwhile, CSKA now suddenly emerged as potential candidate to advance from that group as that win over City gave them four points, the same amount as AS Roma, triggering an intense battle in the last two fixtures.
