Manchester City got themselves back on winning ways this past weekend as they demolished Crystal Palace 4-0 with Sergio Aguero getting himself back on the score sheet.

Aguero’s performance was impressive indeed as he bagged two goals, but Pellegrini also believes that his team’s success in getting the opener from Fabian Delph was key for their win.

Delph was considered an outsider to score, with one betting firm reporting that it’s online bonus was only used once to bet on the player scoring.

The tactician stated that by going one goal up, Man City players were able to get more space which eventually helped them in getting more goals.

Pellegrini added that although his team are still capable of breaking down defensive-minded side, things are easier when they have more space to work with.
