Newcastle United ended their European journey after only managing to pick up 1-1 draw at home against Benfica, which was far from enough to counter previous 3-1 defeat from the Portuguese side in previous leg. However, despite that disappointment, Newcastle manager Alan Pardew remain proud with his players performance on the day as Pardew believes his side have the chance in grabbing more than just one goal.
The manager stated that their focus now is solely on keeping things floating in the Premier League, but he insist that his side will be targeting a spot in Europa next season.
