Pardew Pleased With Newcastle Win Over Stoke

Newcastle United picked up a 2-1 victory over Stoke City in their latest Premier League fixture and the result brought plenty of joy for Newcastle manager Alan Pardew, although he admitted that it wasn’t an easy game at all.

Pardew stated that his side didn’t play well in the first half and was under a lot of pressure as the Magpies players looked mentally tired in that period. However, Newcastle improved their game in the second half and despite still facing difficulties they eventually deserved to pick up all three points.

Pardew also cherished the return of some of his important players as they helped Newcastle performing well again.
