AC Milan will be without their star forward, Rafael Leao, for their Serie A opening fixture this upcoming weekend. Leao's absence was due to the calf injury that he picked up during the Rossoneri's Coppa Italia clash against Bari.

Everton have reportedly secured a deal to sign Manchester City castaway Jack Grealish, on loan with an option to buy for 50 million pounds. The former 100-million-man has been struggling to get game time last season, and things are unlikely to change.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly started discussions with Manchester City for the potential transfer of Brazilian winger Savinho. Spurs' new boss, Thomas Frank, considers the 21-year-old as the ideal player for his system.

Crystal Palace provided another surprise for English football fans after they beat Liverpool to win the Community Shield this weekend. Palace defeated Liverpool via penalty shoot-out after drawing 2-2 in normal time.

Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola, revealed that his star midfielder, Rodri, won't be at his best, at least until mid-September, as he is still recovering from his injury.  However, Guardiola is still hoping that the Spanish international can play some minutes in some of City's early fixtures.

Newcastle United insist on signing AC Milan defender Malick Thiaw, who is strongly appreciated by the Rossoneri's new boss, Massimiliano Allegri. However, the Rossoneri would be open to discussion for a fee of around 40 to 45 million euros.

Manchester United have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for the transfer of Benjamin Sesko to Old Trafford this summer. Man United reportedly will be paying a fixed fee worth 76.

Tottenham Hotspur star midfielder James Maddison will be out for a few months after picking up an ACL injury. Maddison got the injury during his team's pre-season friendly match against Newcastle United last Sunday.
