Sunderland’s 2-1 defeat against Norwich on Sunday gave some thinking to do for Black Cats’ boss Martin O’Neill as his side’s poor form continues.
This situation made O’Neill believes that his team are currently not even save yet from relegation as they are short on points in even reaching that potential save ground. The manager admitted that his teams are in need of points at the moment, considering they haven’t had a good start so far this season.
O’Neill urged his players to battle through from this situation and showed their experience when facing similar issues last season.
