After waiting for quite some time, a harsh truth arrived for Colombia as they have to leave out their star striker, Radamel Falcao from the final 23-men squad that will be battling it out in Brazil.

The final decision in eliminating Falcao from Jose Pekerman’s final list was not an easy job as the Argentinian tactician revealed that he was very sad for him, but it’s something that has already been discussed between him and Colombia’s medical team.

Although disappointed with his failure to play in World Cup 2014, but Falcao accepted the decision gracefully as he previously already noted that he won’t forced himself to go should his health condition isn’t allowing him.

The Monaco star can only voiced out his support to El Pais, which was quoted by FIFA, saying,”I was very excited but now I’ll have to support the team from afar and I wish them well, hoping they play a good World Cup.”

Aside from Falcao, another striker who has been left out by Pekerman for the upcoming Brazil 2014 World Cup is Udinese’s talented striker, Luis Muriel, who has also been struggling with fitness throughout the season.
