Neymar Highlighted Brazil’s Victory, Spain Held in Friendlies

World Cup 2018 is getting closer and every nations continuing their preparation with international friendly matches, including the top national teams such as Brazil and Spain.

Playing in neutral ground, Selecao showcasing why they are considered as one of the favorites to win the tournament with a pretty comfortable 2-0 win over fellow World Cup participant, Croatia.

Despite failing to score during the first 45 minutes, Tite’s team didn’t lose their dominance and spirit after the break as they got themselves a break through with a lovely effort from their star man, Neymar.

Coming in as half time substitute, the Paris Saint-Germain star showcasing that he can still produce his magic despite having just recovered from a serious injury recently.

The former Barcelona man scored after dancing around couple of Croatia defenders in a very tight space inside the penalty area, triggering thundering applause from the crowd.

Brazil eventually secured their victory with a second goal scored by Liverpool star, Roberto Firmino in stoppage time.

Meanwhile, a different result arrived for Spain as they found themselves held into a 1-1 draw by Switzerland.

La Furia Roja got themselves ahead in that game when Alvaro Odriozola scored after 29 minutes, which also gave his side a 1-0 lead going into half time break.

However, midway into the second half, Swiss were able to get back on level terms thanks to a close range finish from AC Milan’s full back, Ricardo Rodriguez, who capitalized on David De Gea’s blunder.
