Newcastle United will be facing a difficult test against Benfica on their Europa League quarter final especially for the first leg this Thursday as it will be played in Portugal. Speaking ahead of that encounter, the Magpies goal keeper Tim Krul is expecting a solid performance from his teammates especially at the back as the goalie is aiming to keep a clean sheet.
Meanwhile, manager Alan Pardew revealed that his team must not defend too much this midweek as that would give Newcastle more problems instead considering Benfica have many quality players. Pardew also stated his hope of getting an away goal in their away fixture, but added that keeping out their opponent remains as main mission.
