Failing to quality for this upcoming Euro 2016 finals is a disappointing situation indeed for Netherlands, but it’s something they must accept for now and start their rebuilding process.
According to their star player, Arjen Robben, Dutch now must acknowledge that things have change so they must rebuild again and prepare themselves for World Cup 2018 qualification.
As part of that process, Netherlands will be playing against Wales this Friday in a friendly fixture and Robben hope his national side can get positive result to get their confidence back.
Although admitting it will be a very long and winding road ahead of their World Cup 2018 qualifier, Robben urged his team to give their best in every friendly matches.
Moreover, Robben also stated that Netherlands’ friendly game against Wales is an important game for him, that’s why he decided to take part on it.
