Netherlands Expecting Serious Battle Against Mexico

Netherlands will be playing an international friendly fixture this midweek against Mexico, but Dutch head coach, Guus Hiddink is expecting for a serious encounter as he believes their opponent are hungry for victory.

Speaking in a news conference ahead of that tie, Hiddink stated that Mexico will not just play for the sake of it as Miguel Herrera’s men are seeking for revenge for their previous World Cup 2014 meeting.

That’s why Hiddink is also setting up for a serious battle as Netherlands themselves are needing a confidence boost after having such difficult start to their Euro 2016 qualifier campaign.

Grabbing a convincing win over Mexico could give that extra motivation for Netherlands ahead of their upcoming Euro qualifier, where they are scheduled to meet Latvia.
