Being left out from France’s World Cup 2014 squad despite performing well at club level apparently has influenced Samir Nasri’s in considering a retirement from international football.
This news occurred after Nasri made a public statement hinting at retirement as he believes having failed to win anything with France during his international campaign will make his decision much easier.
Furthermore, the hectic schedule along with frequent amount of playing time his having at top club such as Manchester City also helped him in making that important decision.
However, Nasri apparently isn’t going to make any official announcement yet as he is waiting for the right moment for it. Although still being considered as one of France’s top midfielder, but current head coach, Didier Deschamps, apparently isn’t giving much consideration for the former Arsenal man.
