Chelsea picked up a 1-1 draw on their Champions League first leg battle against Paris Saint-Germain and that result was cherished by The Blues’ boss, Jose Mourinho.
Sharing his thoughts to the press right after that tie, Mourinho admitted that PSG were much closer to grab a win on that match instead of his team.
Noting that the home side created more goal scoring chances, the Portuguese manager gladly accepted the draw result, stating it was a very good result for Chelsea.
Grabbing an away goal is surely a positive sign indeed for the Blues as they have a slight advantage over their opponent when both teams meet again at Stamford Bridge.
Still, it won’t be an easy task for The Blues to overcome their opponent, especially if Laurent Blanc’s men can maintain their positive performance at Stamford Bridge.
