Losing their first two league games already this season doesn’t seem to diminish any believes that Arsenal players have on their new boss, Unai Emery as at least according to Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who believes the Spanish coach will eventually come good.
Speaking in a latest news conference with the media, Mkhitaryan stated that even though his side haven’t won any of their first two games, but they are going in the right direction under Emery’s guidance.
The former Borussia Dortmund man stated that his new boss is trying to maintain Gunners’ attacking philosophy and combined it with the right defensive play which will suit them well.
Moreover, Mkhitaryan added that in their previous two games so far, there’s already many positives stuff they can take from, notably the team’s ability in creating many scoring chances.
That’s why the Armenian international believes that aside from having to cope with difficult schedule as they were playing top opponents, Arsenal have also been rather unlucky in those matches.
For now, the attacking midfielder urged his teammates and fans to remain positive and confident as they go into their upcoming fixtures with the mission on getting their first victory of this new season.
It is still too early to write off Gunners’ potential under Emery, but nevertheless they need to pick up positive results soon, since continuous bad results can easily affected players’ confidence.
