Rumors regarding potential swap deal involving AC Milan and Atletico Madrid that have been spreading vastly in recent days have turned out to be more than just random news as the Rossoneri themselves confirmed it.
Both clubs are planning to exchange Fernando Torres and Alessio Cerci as both players will be heading into opposite direction this January in another loan deal which reportedly will last for 18 months.
Rossoneri reportedly revealed that news via Milan Channel, stating that negotiation regarding possible swap deal between Torres and Cerci is at advanced stage and could be ironed out right after Christmas.
Those two players have been finding it hard to get playing time, so there was obviously a mutual understanding from Milan and Atletico, that they might get positive results from the deal.
Torres was a local hero at Atletico and might find things much more comfortable in Spain, while Cerci himself could also regain his form again playing in the league he knows really well.
