Mexico Parting Ways With Miguel Herrera

Winning a title doesn’t necessarily ensured ones future and that’s pretty much what happens to Miguel Herrera as he has been fired from his previous position as Mexico national team head coach.

That decision was announced by Mexican Football Federation president, Decio de Maria, who stated that it’s something that has been agreed by both parties.

It’s a shocking development indeed, notably since Herrera has just led the Sombrero side in winning their seventh Gold Cup title couple of days back.

However, due to an alleged punching incident on a reporter, the Federation apparently doesn’t have any other choice aside from dismissing Herrera from his position.
