Mata Ensured that Man United Still Believe in Title Race

Manchester City’s 4-3 defeat from Liverpool last weekend seems to trigger hope from Manchester United players, notably Juan Mata who remain confident that his side are still in for a shot at this season’s Premier League title.

The Spaniard expressed his beliefs during a recent interview stating that there’s still enough game left for them to catch Man City, though there’s still 12 points gap between both teams.

Although admitting that City have a big advantage, but his side only need to think about themselves and just try to win their next four games and see where they’re at come May.

Moreover, Mata added that Premier League in recent years have produced many surprising outcomes, so his hoping that similar kind of outcome will happen for the Red Devils this time around.

Aside from maintaining hope for his club’s title challenge, the former Valencia star also keen on getting into Spain’s national team World Cup 2018 squad this summer.

The attacking midfielder is working hard to get himself into that La Furia Roja squad and certainly contributing for them in the upcoming tournament.

Mata himself is confident with his chance, mainly since he has been getting good enough playing time with Man United this season so it’s up to him in convincing his national team coach, Julen Lopetegui.
