Another friction between Manchester City manager, Roberto Mancini and his striker, Mario Balotelli seemed to appear again in this early stage of the season.
Mancini was seen pushing Balotelli in the tunnel right after their team’s home game against Arsenal which ended in a 1-1 draw. The Italian striker himself only came on for about five minutes in that game, much to his frustration.
Despite the visible altercation, Mancini was keen on playing down the situation by saying to the press that it wasn’t something important for him. The ex-Inter manager even claimed that he didn’t even remember the incident.
