Manchester United’s journey in Europa League didn’t start well as they suffered a shock defeat from Feyenoord Rotterdam this Thursday.
Focusing more in battling for Premier League challenge, Man United rested several regular starters and it eventually haunt them as they were struggling to break down their opponent’s defense even since the first 45 minutes.
After a goalless first half, Jose Mourinho tried to push for all three points by putting on Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Memphis Depay.
However, instead of scoring, they found themselves trailing when Tonny Vilhena scored on 79 minutes to make it 1-0 for Feyenoord.
United tried hard to get themselves back into that tie, but none of their efforts were successful as the home team bagged a precious home win against United.
