Manchester United continuing their positive start into the new English Premier League season following a comfortable 4-0 victory over Everton at Old Trafford.
Keen on redeeming themselves after only grabbing a draw against Stoke City last weekend, Man United starting off brightly as they found themselves going one goal up on the fourth minute through Antonio Valencia’s effort.
Everton tried hard to get back into that tie afterwards, creating a very tight encounter up till the final 10 minutes when Man United one again showing their sharpness as they netted three goals during those moment of time.
Things got started when Henrikh Mkhitaryan netted home the second, which was followed soon by Romelu Lukaku along with Anthony Martial’s stoppage time’s goal to make it 4-0.
Meanwhile, a more thrilling battle occurred at Stamford Bridge which saw home team, Chelsea being held into a goalless draw by Arsenal.
Despite both teams’ failure to score any goals in that game, there’s plenty action as those two sides were creating several goal scoring opportunities.
Gunners looked particularly surprising as despite not having a great start, but Arsene Wenger’s team grew into the match and eventually able to cause many problems for their opponent.
Unfortunately, none of the opportunities created during that team resulted in any goals, triggering slight frustration which eventually saw Chelsea’s David Luiz got sent off in the last few minutes of that game.
