Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has been widely labeled of being a defensive minded coach, including during current short spell at Old Trafford.
However, that assessment of the Portuguese tactician is not something that agreed by Man United midfielder, Ander Herrera, who even consider his boss as an attacking minded one.
Speaking in an interview with the media, Herrera insisted that so far this season, United under Mourindho has consistently showed that they are not playing a defensive minded football as they mostly dominate possession and created many chances.
The Spaniard further explained that what his current manager not is playing kamikaze attacking style as Mourinho doesn’t want Man United players playing like mad men going forward.
Moreover, Herrera also added that the Portuguese also gives many freedom for players up front, giving plenty satisfaction for the midfielder himself to play under the special one’s guidance.
Another positive side from Mourinho that the former Atheltic Bilbao star shared is that the tactician always says everything honestly to the players.
Herrera also ensured that the team have no issue whatsoever with the former Chelsea boss as everyone at Man United are working well and accepting Mourinho’s ideas well.
Furthermore, the midfielder also admitted that he is comfortable playing the new role that is given to him this season as Herrera believes he has the quality to excel in having more defensive role.
