Man United Boss, Mourinho, Not Pleased With Luke Shaw’s Effort
Getting a recent international call up for England, Luke Shaw’s status and future at Manchester United remain a mystery especially since his current boss at the club, Jose Mourinho, still not impressed with the left back.
Speaking in a recent news conference, Mourinho admitted that he is not that pleased yet with what he saw from the former Southampton defender.
The Portuguese tactician stated that up till now, Shaw hasn’t do enough even during training session as he is still long way behind compared to other Man United defenders.
Mourinho explained that he can’t even compare the England international commitment that’s why it’s hard for the manager to even put Shaw in the bench.
Following his long term injury along with the Special One’s arrival this summer, things are not looking bright for the 21-year-old as he has been struggling for regular playing time.
Fortunately his lack of appearance for Man United this season doesn’t affect Gareth Southgate’s decision to call up the young defender in Three Lions setup.
However, how long can Southgate’s trust continue especially if Shaw continue to struggle in getting game time at Old Trafford.
This unpleasant situation might eventually push the left back to move away from Man United next summer and search for regular football.
