Manchester City looking to find their rhythm in this early stage of English Premier League season as Pep Guardiola’s men picked up another convincing victory.
Following their dominant win last weekend over Liverpool and this past midweek in the Champions League, Man City demolished Watford 6-0 on Saturday.
City’s Argentinian star, Sergio Aguero continue to showcase his sharpness as he bagged a hat-trick in that tie, with other three goals were netted by Gabriel Jesus, Nicolas Otamendi along with Raheem Sterling.
Certainly a satisfying result for Guardiola who will be hoping that his team can maintain their positive start until the end, unlike what happened last season.
That win puts the Etihad based outfit sitting top of current league table, leading three points over their nearest rival, Manchester United, though Jose Mourinho’s men have one game less at the moment.
Meanwhile, another disappointing result arrived for Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp’s men failed to win their third straight game in all competition.
Playing at home against Burnley, Klopp’s men struggle again as they only managed to pick up a point following a 1-1 draw.
The Reds didn’t have a great start in that match as they found themselves trailing 1-0 after 27 minutes through Scott Arfield.
However, three minutes later, Liverpool got back on level terms, thanks to an effort from their summer signing, Mohamed Salah.
Unfortunately, that equalizing goal didn’t trigger any additions for the home side as they were forced to settle for a point in that game.
