Manchester City keeping their five points lead at the top of English Premier League standings following a hard fought win over West Bromwich Albion this Saturday.
Playing away from home, Man City started off brilliantly as they found themselves going one goal up after just 10 minutes of play through Leroy Sane’s effort.
However, that lead was immediately canceled out as Jay Rodriguez equalized for the home team three minutes after Sane’s opener.
City regained their lead soon afterwards, this time it was Fernandiho who got his name in the score sheet, giving his side that slender lead as they go into half time break.
In the second half, Pep Guardiola’s men looked to have secure all three points when Raheem Sterling made it 3-1 on 64 minutes.
However, the home team created a slight scare late in that game as Matthew Philipps pulled one back in stoppage time to make it 3-2.
Unfortunately, there’s just not enough time for WBA to snatch at least another goal as Man City hold on to their slender lead until the final whistle was blown.
In other games, Arsenal came back from a 1-0 down in the first 45 minutes against Swansea thanks to second half goals from Sead Kolasinac along with Aaron Ramsey, who canceled out Samuel Clucas opener for the visitor.
