Man City Captured Danilo from Real Madrid
Manchester City’s massive spending spree this summer continue as this weekend they completed another signing, capturing Brazilian right back, Danilo.
Pep Guardiola’s side introduced their new arrival on the club’s official website, stating that the former Real Madrid man has signed a five year deal and already joining up his new teammate on City’s US tour.
This deal reportedly cost Man City 26.5 million pounds and only requiring the usual work permit for non European players before the defender can eventually play for the English outfit.
Another quite expensive purchase done by Guardiola’s team to strengthen their defense line up following previous arrival of Kyle Walker and goal keeper, Ederson.
Having most of their defensive players leaving this summer, it’s acknowledge that City have to make some serious spending at that position, though many wouldn’t thought that the Citizens will be splashing a huge amount of cash already.
Danilo himself is very keen on the move and is eager to make his first start appearing for Guardiola’s men, competing for Walker in that right back spot for the upcoming season.
Attracting attention due to his performance at FC Porto, the Brazilian found didn’t find much playing time when he played for Madrid, that’s why he will be hoping for a better situation at Etihad.
