Real Madrid might not have the best of start in their Spanish La Liga season, but Los Blancos continue to fill their trophy cabinet as this weekend Zinedine Zidane’s men won their second FIFA Club World Cup title.

Already winning last season, Madrid proved that they are still a very title oriented side as theyZidane defend their trophy by defeating Brazilian outfit Gremio 1-0.

It was far from an easy contest though for Madrid as they face a resilient display from their opponent from start to finish.

After a very tight first 45 minutes, Los Blancos finally broke the dead lock thanks to their star forward, Cristiano Ronaldo who scored with a love bouncing free kick on 53 minutes.

Both teams continue to push forward in search for more goals, but until the final whistle was blown neither were able to add that  1-0 score line for Madrid.

Another precious victory indeed for Zidane’s men as they earn more recognition with their back to back World Cup Cup title, something that no teams have ever managed before.

As for Ronaldo, he continue to break goal scoring record in many competition as his free kick against Gremio on Saturday was his seventh in Club World Cup, putting him as the tournament’s all time top scorer.
