Madrid Boss, Zidane, Hoping Ronaldo Will Start Scoring in La Liga

Real Madrid picked up another important three points on their latest La Liga fixture this past weekend, but there’s still something missing in their 2-0 home win over Espanyol as Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t score as just yet.

Since his return from match ban, Ronaldo has not been able to register any goals yet in Spanish La Liga, though he remains productive for Madrid in their Champions League campaign.

This situation doesn’t concern Los Blancos boss, Zinedine Zidane, though he is hoping that his Portuguese star will start scoring again in the league right after their current international break ends.

Although he doesn’t feel any problem with Ronaldo, Zidane did admit there was a slight disappointment not seeing CR7 banging on goals yet in La Liga.

The tactician refused to blame tiredness as an issue, since it’s actually the opposite as Ronaldo himself has missed five games due to suspension that his getting during Los Blancos super cup game against Barcelona.

Although Madrid still winning, there’s certainly still some concern regarding Ronaldo’s goal drought as he remains Los Blancos main goal scorer who can broke the club’s dead lock in many important games.

That’s why it’s understandable that the Spanish giant is looking to see their star man regain his goal scoring touch in La Liga, notably since they didn’t have the best start so far this season.
