Lukaku Excited With Partnership With Rashford at Man United
Manchester United had an excellent start to their English Premier League season with a convincing 4-0 victory over West Ham United and that victory already brought lots of confidence on the club’s front line quality.
The excitement and beliefs didn’t just arrive from fans, but also The Red Devils’ summer signing, Romelu Lukaku, who stated that he already felt a special connection with his striking partnership, Marcus Rashford.
Speaking to the club’s official TV Channel, the Belgium international claimed that he immediately get on well with Rashford and Lukaku also hoping that they can continue to combine well in upcoming games for United.
Moreover, he also expressed his joy over scoring two goals during his first league match for Man United, though the former Everton man admitted he was targeting a third one during that tie against West Ham.
Although stating his hunger to always score goals since it’s his job, Lukaku added that in the end of the day, what’s important is helping his team win games as that’s basically what every teams are pursuing in the Premier League.
It was indeed a promising start for Man United, particularly with Lukaku’s and Rashford partnership, but more challenges will certainly arrive for Jose Mourinho’s men in the near future.
